The unified dispatch service of the Odessa Regional Center of Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine
On March 21, 2018 in Odessa the representatives of O.S. Popov ONAT took part in the grand opening of the new unified dispatch service of the Odessa Regional Center of Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine, built on the project of the Academy.
The ceremony was attended by the Head of the Odessa regional state administration Stepanov M.V., the Head of the Odessa Regional Council Urbansky A.I., the deputy Head of the Odessa regional state administration Koleboshin S.V., the director of the Health Care Department of the Odessa regional state administration Polyasny V.O., the deputies of the Odessa regional council, the employees of the Odessa Regional Center of Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine, the invited guests from the organizations involved in the creation of the service, as well as the guests from other regions of Ukraine.
The project, which provided the creation of an ultra-modern integrated telecommunications platform that would allow the reception and processing of emergency medical care calls from all over the Odessa region, the provision of 44 automated workplaces, and the connection of more than 190 emergency medical care teams to the unified telecommunication infrastructure, was developed by the Academy’s specialists in less than 4 months. The specialists of the Academy also carried out the consulting and support of the dispatch service construction process at all stages of its creation.
Currently, the Academy, along with the Odessa regional state administration, has started preparatory (pre-designing) work on the creation of a unified digital, independent telecommunication infrastructure, which will provide the high-quality communications to all emergency response services even in the case of mobile operators’ networks failure.
